Hiring Returns Processor – Shipping & Receiving – Customer Service

We are a leading online and mail order retailer that offers hearing devises to those who are hard of hearing. Working from our Spring Valley Office since 2004, we run a steady e-commerce and mail order business, also partnership with hearing Physicians throughout the United States.

Shift:  Monday to Friday, full-time days

Position Purpose:

Process returned merchandise by updating computer system, checking and sorting parts, advising Customer Service dept if there are questions and the customer needs to be contacted.  

Provide support to hearing aid division with fulfilling orders which requires some set up per customer need as well as processing returns; parts and refurbishments.

Process returned product breaking down, checking and sorting parts. This position works as a contributing member of the customer service department to help maintain service standards and quality assurance. Help facilitate company’s mission to provide our customer the best value and service for their hearing devices and accessories.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all return merchandise process according to department procedures., inspect and reprocess returned product / parts back to parts supply
  • Fulfill orders for the hearing aid product
  • Review all entries for completion and accuracy prior to entering into the system, and works directly with the Customer Service Team to proactively identify potential issues
  • Provide on-going communication with both the Customer Service Team, and appropriate personnel, on the disposition of returns
  • Accurately identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Report trends of returning products and any internal issues to appropriate personnel for resolution
  • Exhibit sound and accurate judgment; support and explain reasoning for decisions
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Prior experience processing product returns for on-line sales preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Some technical skills to learn and understand products
  • Ability to type 35 WPM with accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to multi task and keep up to date with returns daily
  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • Be able to meet high quality and quantity demands while working unsupervised
  • Exceptional attendance in compliance with your schedule (with the exception of sick or vacation time)
  • Maintaining productivity with accuracy
  • Ability and willingness to follow directions
  • Good learning and reasoning abilities
  • Keyboard literacy

Salary:

  • $14 – 15.00 /hour
