Medical Assistant
Small private practice needs an experienced Medical Assistant to assist Doctor with back office clinical patient care. The office is located on Coronado Island.
Requirements:
- Medical Assistant training certificate
- Minimum 2 years work experience as a Medical Assistant in a private practice or clinic setting
- Strong commitment to patient care and customer service
- Willingness and skills to cover Front Desk occasionally as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients, take and record vital signs and reason for visit
- Assist Doctors with patient office visits and minor surgeries
- Prepare rooms and stock with supplies
- Provide information to patients, train and educate patients regarding treatment plans
- Blood draws
- Other duties may be assigned by Doctor and Office Manager
The practice provides a supportive work environment with opportunity for personal and professional growth and advancement.
Full time permanent position Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
The rate of pay is $11.00 – 14.00 hr. to start based on experience.
