MEDICAL INSURANCE BILLER
Busy private practice with four Physicians looking for an experienced Medical Insurance Biller.
Responsibilities:
- Entering charges using Medical Manager software program.
- Submit claims to HMO, PPO and Government insurance companies for payment
- Electronic billing
- Insurance verifications
- Follow-up on unpaid and denied claims
- Follow-up and appeals for Medicare and Medi-Cal claims
- Balance and produce daily, weekly and month end reports
Requirements:
- Recent work experience as a Medical Biller in private practice
- Knowledge of coding
- Neurology experience helpful
- Able to work independently and as a team member with billing and follow-up responsibility
- Strong computer skills with MS Office, Word, Excel and Medical Manager.

Responsibilities:

- Follow-up on unpaid and denied claims

- Bilingual Spanish required
