Medical Assistant

Well established private medical practice with 5 Physicians is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to support one Doctor and his patients.

 Requirements:

  •  Medical Assistant training certificate
  • Minimum 2 years work experience as a Medical Assistant in a private practice or clinic setting
  • Knowledge and /or experience with medical insurances and insurance authorizations
  • Knowledge and / or experience with scheduling for follow-up visits and procedures

 Responsibilities:

  •  Rooming patients and recording vital signs
  • Stocking rooms with supplies
  • Assisting Doctor with procedures in the office
  • Insurance authorizations for procedures and follow up visits
  • Other duties may be assigned by Doctor and Office Manager

The rate of pay is $13.50 – 14.50 hr. to start based on experience.   Health insurance, vision insurance, paid holiday & vacation time and Profit share plan.

The office is centrally located inSan Diego close toMercyHospital

Full time permanent Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

RADIOLOGY TECHNICIAN / CT TECHNICIAN

 This well established, well respected and growing private medical practice is looking for an experienced Radiology Technician / CT Technician to operate the CT Scan department.

 Requirements:

  •  ARRT licensed with at least a year of hands on work experience as a Radiology Technician preferably with CT scan experience.
  •  Experience with insurance authorizations and scheduling preferred.
  •  Computer literate with medical software.

 Responsibilities:

  •  The Radiology Tech will perform CT Scans on patients within a private practice setting according to Physician’s scanning instructions.
  •  Schedule scans for 7 Providers and obtain insurance pre-authorizations.
  •  Hand on patient care performing CT Scans following Physicians scanning intructions

 The practice is centrally located in San Diego close to Alvarado Hospital.

 Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm  office hours schedule.  This is a full-time permanent employment opportunity.

Salary negotiable based on experience.  Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance as well as paid holidays and vacation.

HOT JOBS – Physician Assistant

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT– FAMILY PRACTICE

 This well established private practice is looking for an experienced Physician Assistant to work with an Internal Medicine Physician in providing Patient Care. 

 Requirements:

  •  California licensed Physician Assistant
  •  Minimum 1 year recent work experience as a Physician Assistant in a private practice or clinic setting.  Family practice or internal medicine preferred.
  •  Computer literate with medical software.

 Responsibilities:

  •  Clinic duties include providing routine patient care in a family practice setting. 
  • Perform examination of patients, assess and manage medical condition / reason for visit.  Initiate diagnostic testing as necessary. Educate patient on course of treatment.
  • Update patient chart regarding office visit.

 The practice is centrally located in La Mesa.

 This is a part-time position to start with potential of additional  hours.    Tuesday and Thursday 8 am to 5 pm. 

  The rate of pay is $40.00 – 50.00hr.  depending on experience
