  NURSE PRACTITIONER  Gastroenterology Private practice – part time

 

This established private practice with 5 Physicians is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a permanent part-time position. 

The schedule will be three weekday mornings per week 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

 

Requirements:

  • California licensed Family or Adult Medicine Nurse Practitioner.
  • Minimum 1 year recent work experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a      private practice or clinic setting.
  • Gastroenterology experience preferred but not required.
  • Hospital experience preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual Spanish helpful but not required.

 Responsibilities:

  • Clinic duties include providing hands on patient care in a gastroenterology practice setting. 
  • Perform examination of patients, assess and manage medical condition / reason for visit. 
  • Initiate diagnostic testing as necessary.
  • Educate patient on course of treatment.
  • Update patient chart regarding office visit.

The practice is located centrally in San Diego.  

This is a part-time permanent position.    The practice has some flexibility to arrange a mutually agreeable working schedule.

The rate of pay is $45.00 – 55.00hr.  Based on experience

Requirements:

 

·        Minimum 2 – 3 years work experience as a Medical Receptionist in a private practice or clinic.

 

·        Computer skills for scheduling appointments and recording patient demographics.

 

·        Strong commitment to first class customer service.

 

·        Excellent verbal & written English language communication skills.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

·        Receptionist duties include answering and screening phone calls, scheduling appointments and managing appointment calendar for Doctors.

Requirements:

  • California licensed Woman’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
  • Minimum 1 year recent work experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a private practice or clinic setting.

 Responsibilities:

  • Clinic duties include providing woman's wellness patient care in an OBGYN practice setting. 
  • Perform examination of patients, assess and manage medical condition / reason for visit. 
  • Initiate diagnostic testing as necessary.
  • Educate patient on course of treatment.
  • Update patient chart regarding office visit.

The practice has two offices, Fallbrook and Temecula.   The Medical staff comprises of one Physician, one part-time Nurse Practitioner, a Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist and Office Manager.

This is a part-time permanent position.

Tuesday and Wednesday office hours. 

The rate of pay is $40.00 – 45.00hr.

Well established private practice needs an experienced Clinical Medical Assistant to provide first class patient care and support 4 Physicians and their patients.  Practice located in La Jolla, CA.

 

Requirements:

 

·        Medical Assistant with at least 2 years recent work experience as a Medical Assistant in a private practice or clinic setting

·        Strong commitment to patient care and customer service

·        Experience with cardiology preferred

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

·        Room patients and take vital signs

·        Assist Physicians with patient office visits

·        Prepare rooms and stock with supplies

·        Run tests for patients according to Doctors orders: EKG, Stress test, stress echo, etc.

·        May do occasional blood draws and assist with lab

·        Provide information to patients, train and educate patients regarding office visits, tests and procedures

·        Administrative duties including recording lab results to patient charts and calling patients with results

·        Prescription refills

·        Other duties may be assigned by Doctors and Office Manager
