Well established private group practice needs an experienced Clinical Medical Assistant to provide first class patient care and support one Physician and his patients.   Practice centrally located in San Diego.

 

Requirements:

 

·        Medical Assistant with at least 2 years recent work experience as a Medical Assistant in a private practice or clinic setting

·        Strong commitment to patient care and customer service

·        Experience with plastic and /or cosmetic surgery preferred

·        Ability to provide clinical patient care as well as scheduling

office visits and surgery

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

·        Greet and room patients, take and record vital signs

·        Assist Physician with patient office visits, set up trays and assist with office procedures

·        Assist patients with follow up visits including removal of sutures and dressing changes

·        Prepare rooms and stock with supplies, autoclave instruments

·        Provide information to patients, train and educate patients regarding office visits, procedures and preparations for procedures

·        Administrative duties including insurance authorizations, scheduling office visits and surgery scheduling

·        Prescription refills

·        Other duties may be assigned by Doctor and Office Manager

 

The practice provides a stable and professional work environment with good team work and opportunity for advancement.

 

Full time permanent position Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

 

The rate of pay is $14.00 – 17.00 hr. and up to start based on experience.

Health & dental & insurance.  Paid holidays & vacation time.  401K saving plan.

·        Use EMR for chart notes.

·        May (optional) promote health and weight management program as well as counseling and support to patients participating in weight management program.

 

Minimum hours required 3 days per week.  Full-time hours may be available.

Practice hours Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The company is looking for a career minded Staff Accountant to work in the corporate office located in the Spring Valley / Rancho San Diego area.

The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting for a consumer sales business working with credit card payments and accounting using NetSuite, QuickBooks, Excel and Adobe software. 

Responsibilities:

·        Post and balance daily cash activities

·        Post A/P and pay bills

·        Bank reconciliations

·        Journal entries

·        Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

·        Prepare payroll and commission using ADP payroll service for approx. 20 employees.

·        Research and adjust inventory discrepancies

·        Assist with weekly cash report and management reports

·        Assist with monthly close

·        Prepare financial statements

The employer is looking for a self motivated and career oriented Staff Accountant who will eventually take responsibility for all of the above; reporting to the Operations Manager and Principles of the company.

Requirements:

·        1 – 3 years work experience with duties as listed above

·        Accounting degree preferred

·        Strong computer skills with Excel, QuickBooks, NetSuite and Adobe preferred.

 

Full time direct hire Monday – Friday office hours.  Some flexibility to arrange hours to suit employee and employer.

$37,000 – 40,000 per year based on experience.  Health insurance, paid holiday, vacation and sick time after 90 day introductory period.
